EXPRESS FACE SCULPT + DRAIN

Holistic pro-aging.

This targeted facial treatment is designed as a natural alternative to Botox, dermal fillers, and other injectable and resurfacing treatments. It’s also a powerful maintenance tool for those who do choose injectables. Through a focused combination of fascial release, lymphatic drainage, muscle work, and lifting techniques, it supports the underlying architecture of your face at all levels.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Puffiness + dark circles: The face drains into lymph nodes in the neck — and over 50% of your lymphatic system is there. If the neck is congested, lymph can’t move properly. We use gentle, precise lymphatic drainage techniques to clear stagnation, reduce swelling, brighten under-eyes, and support brain and sinus health.

  • TMJ Dysfunction + jaw tension: Clenching, grinding, tech neck, and stress are major contributors to both facial tension and visible aging. We address muscles that connect to your jaw from all angles to help with range of motion, joint function, reducing pain, softening expression lines, and improving alignment over time.

  • Botox + dermal filler maintenance: Injectables impair the flow of blood, lymph, and nutrients through facial tissue. This work helps stimulate circulation, prevent fluid stagnation, and maintain the health of injected areas, improving long-term tissue resilience and appearance.

  • Fascia health: Fascia is the dynamic connective tissue that envelops every muscle and fat pad in your face. If it’s tight or stuck, it pulls and compresses surrounding structures. Through fascial release, we restore glide, lift, and responsiveness, helping the face move and recover more naturally.

WHY IT WORKS

Unlike the rest of the body, most facial muscles attach directly to the skin, not to bone. That means your expressions pull directly on the skin above them. Over time, chronic muscle tension shortens muscle fibers, distorts tissue balance, and causes folds, creases, and sagging to become etched into the skin.

This treatment addresses the root causes behind many of the concerns that Botox and fillers aim to mask:

  • Wrinkles + fine lines: Tense facial muscles (especially around the eyes, mouth, and jaw) shorten and bunch over time, folding the skin into patterns that deepen into lines. By manually releasing tension and encouraging healthy muscle tone, we reduce the mechanical pull behind wrinkle formation.

  • Sagging + volume loss: Muscle tension and fascial restriction can compress or displace facial fat pads, leading to hollowing or heaviness in places like the cheeks and jawline. Through precise release and upward strokes, we help free and lift these compartments, supporting facial volume and restoring more youthful proportions.

  • Facial asymmetry: Facial tension, posture, or dental issues can cause imbalanced tension across the face. Targeted work on muscle groups helps re-educate overworked muscles and re-establish neuromuscular balance, creating a more symmetrical appearance.

TESTIMONIALS

"I started seeing her twice a month as an alternative to topping up my Botox, and I honestly haven’t looked back. My face feels lifted, lighter, and more alive. I’ve loved not feeling frozen. Even my husband noticed, and he never notices anything. It’s become an essential part of how I care for myself; not just my skin, but the stress I carry in my jaw and neck. It’s subtle, intelligent, and it works."   - A., 63

“My go-to face routine. I’ve always been wary of Botox because injecting toxins isn’t my vibe. Finding Sophie’s treatment that leaves me feeling glowy and lifted, AND knowing I’m caring for my skin in a natural way?? Unreal. Soph is a total gem and I’ve loved making this lovely little treatment my ritual.” - M., 26

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • They're not inherently bad, but they're not neutral! They can create beautiful results, but they work very differently to your body's natural processes -

Botox temporarily paralyses specific muscles to reduce movement that cause wrinkles. 'botox' comes from botulinum toxin, a neurotoxic protein thatg works by blocking signals from nerves to muscles. Over time, repeated use can cause muscle weakening or atrophy, and compensatin patterns in other facial muscles as they work harder to keep up with facial movement. Less movement also means reduced circulation and lymphatic flow, which can contribute to to dullness, puffiness, and stiffness in the tissue.

Fillers add volume by placing material under the skin. While they can help contour and lift, they also compress blood and lymph vessels, slowing flow and drainage. With repeated treatments they can contribute to swelling, puffiness, and depleted tissue health. In some cases, a type of internal scarring called fibrosis can happen, which affects how the tissue feels, moves, and functions.

Your face is a living, breathing system, so if you're using injectables (or stepping away from them) supporting the tissue with face massage and lymphatic work helps restore mobility, glow, and balance.

  • Consistency is key for best results - weekly or bi-weekly sessions are ideal for the first couple months. After that, you can move to a maintenance schedule of once every 4-6 weeks

  • Please arrive with a clean face (ideally no makeup, as it will get disrupted), remove your jewelry, and have your intake form completed with accurate information. Please be prepared to have some oil in your hair - if you really want to avoid that please let me know (I'll ask you too, in case you forget). I'll do what I can to prevent it, but you may still have a bit in your hairline.

  • There's no down time. You may have a flushed glow afterwards, and some short-term fluid retention in your face in response to the stimulatory/lifting work. This is normal and will resolve by the next day. Most clients leave feeling amd looking refreshed and ready to go!
