BREAST + CHEST CARE
Expertly, professionally, reassuringly delivered.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This treatment is designed to support breast and chest tissue through periods of change, recovery, or ongoing maintenance. Whether you're navigating post-surgical healing (including implants, explants, top surgery, mastectomy, post-partum), hormone-related changes, swelling, or general discomfort, this work helps improve circulation, reduce stagnation, and support tissue mobility.
Techniques may include manual lymphatic drainage, fascial release, and gentle muscular work through the chest wall, ribcage, and surrounding areas. This helps reduce puffiness (especially in the armpit), improve lymphatic flow, and ease tension in the upper body.
Scar tissue from surgery is also addressed with careful, focused work to encourage mobility, reduce adhesions, and support long-term comfort and function. Treatment is based on how your body moves and heals—not just where the scar is or how old it is—as long as your surgeon or doctor has cleared the area for hands-on work.
This kind of care is often overlooked, but the chest plays a major role in posture, breath, and lymphatic health. Supporting this area can relieve discomfort, restore connection to your body, and contribute to overall wellbeing.
Your comfort and consent are at the centre of every session. There’s no expectation for full chest exposure, and you’ll be clearly guided and supported throughout with a grounded, respectful approach.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Not at all. This treatment is for anyone with a chest - regardless of size, shape, or gender identity. It supports recovery, mobility, and comfort across a wide range of experiences, including top surgery, mastectomy, fractures and injuries, and other gender-affirming or medical procedures.
-
Yes. Once your surgeon or healthcare provider has cleared you for hands-on work, this treatment can be deeply supportive in your healing process. Scar tissue is approached with care, and techniques are adapted to your unique needs. You will always be honoured in your identity and treated with respect.
-
If you are in remission and have been cleared by your oncologist or care team, this treatment can be a valuable part of your recovery. For clients who are at least 5 years in remission, lymphatic drainage may be included with approval. However, scar tissue work, fascial release, and muscular techniques can still be beneficial before that point - helping ease tension, support mobility, and restore a sense of connection to your body. Everything is adapted to your stage of healing and comfort level.
-
This work is beneficial before or after any of these procedures. It can help manage swelling, support tissue healing, and improve mobility. Each session is tailored to your comfort level and where your body is in its recovery process.
Make sure you’re cleared for massage by your surgeon before booking.

No. Your comfort and consent are central to every session. While some techniques can be more effective with direct access to the chest, there is no expectation for full chest exposure. Options will be clearly explained, and your boundaries will always be respected.
-
Only if it's safe and you’re comfortable. Scar work is done slowly and respectfully, with techniques that improve mobility and reduce adhesions without needing to go deep. The focus is always on supporting your long-term comfort and function.
-
Yes. Sessions are grounded in clear communication, choice, and consent. You’ll be guided step-by-step, and your autonomy is always forefront. You’re encouraged to speak up at any time, and you’ll never be touched without clear consent, which can be modified or removed completely at any time.
-
Absolutely. Many people carry complex feelings about their chest, whether due to surgery, gender, breastfeeding, illness, or past experiences. This work can help restore a sense of connection, but there’s no pressure or expectation.
-
Yes, gentle work can help improve circulation and lymphatic flow, which may support comfort and ease tenderness associated with fibrocystic breasts or benign cysts. While this is not a treatment for medical conditions, it can be a supportive complement to your care. Pressure and techniques are adjusted to avoid any irritation or discomfort.

It’s completely normal to feel nervous about that. This treatment is not a diagnostic service or a substitute for medical screening.
If I happen to notice anything unusual, like a lump, area of firmness, or change in tissue texture, I will let you know in a calm, respectful way and encourage you to follow up with your primary care provider. I won't make assumptions, speculations, or use any alarmist words.
My role is to support your awareness and connection to your body, not to diagnose. You’re always in control, and there’s space in our work together for whatever feelings might come up.
